My original idea was to buy a $8-9k car and do work on it over time. I decided instead to go for $15K and got a MUCH better car, and in the long run spent much less in total to fix it up. Those prices were in 2001, so they are prob more like a 10-12k car now vs a 20K car Spend the little more up front, and you will be much better off! If you get a car to learn on, be prepared to run into PO problems. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
