So, driving back from DCS on Sunday, my car lost power on the highway 2-3 quick times, then the engine kicked back in (almost like inertia switch cut in/out 2-3 times real quick) I traveled another 45 minutes, and it happened one more time about 10 miles from home. I made it home, and noticed that my fuel pump was "Whining/buzzing/humming" quite a bit. I have never heard this before. Is this the overheating problem? Do I need a new fuel pump? What kind of lifespan should I expect? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
