Rich, Of the three cars that had leaks, One was the broken radiator that we already discussed. The plastic tank had cracked. The second car happens to be a top quality, well maintained driver. I believe the owner has had most of the work done professionally. However, this was probably the first time in a long time that the car spent the night outside with such low temperatures. It had not leaked previously. And, the third car was mine. It had a few small drops under it from a single loose clamp on one of the large hoses. It was the first time 6068 had spent a cold night outside the garage since the engine transplant last year. Not to mention, I beat the piss out of it at the drag strip the night before. I expected to break a lot more on the car, so I was perfectly happy with the three problems I encountered as a result of my evening at the track. Those are the loose clamp, a broken connector on the Crank position sensor (caused me to stall before the Finnish line on all of my runs), and having the AC vent fly out of the dashboard and hit me when I took off from the starting line. With that broken connector on the CPS, I was both the fastest and slowest DeLorean at the track that night. :) So, none of the cars were running on original hoses and clamps... just one original radiator! --- d_rex_2002 <rich@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Bill, > > I wonder how many of the 3 "leaking" DeLoreans were > running on > original coolant hoses and clamps?
