While I had my interior out to replace the carpeting, I went ahead and lined the bucket (including the rear firewall) with Dynamat-style sound treatment stuff. Very easy job if the seats and carpet are out. It made a pretty dramatic difference, at the cost of maybe $100 and 25 or 30 pounds.
