I would like to thank everyone for your informational posts about DeLorean antennas. And everyone seems to agree on the culprit part, so I'm convinced that's the issue. I searched for the "Hurrada" antennas but had no luck, could someone send me a link to their website if they have one. If not, could you let me know how I can contact them, if I choose to replace the whole antenna assembly. I am located in southern California, not too far from the Garden Grove DeLorean Motor Center. I'm very lucky to have them relatively close for the bigger projects that I can't do myself. On a side note, the service and quality there are spectacular, and everyone is a pleasure to do business with.
