I don't think the new DeLoreans will ever be lumped in with the original cars. They'll always be thought of as one of a continuation series. That's not a bad thing, Shelby did it more than once with both Mustangs and Cobras. Any difference between original or continuation car future values remains to be seen but I don't think the new cars will have any negative effect on the value of original cars.
