It's not that complicated. A Delorean IS more than just the sum of it's parts. It has a vin # and when it was created each came with it's own Certificate of Origion from which each State issued a unique Title to the first Owner of Record. Kind of like a Birth Certificate. To my knowledge DMCH does not have the authority to issue a Certificate of Origion or a vin #. The "new" Deloreans will be "kit cars" built with a majority of origional Delorean parts. In a sense they ARE Deloreans, just with some qualifacations.
