I guess this article is a bit of a testimonial. My goal was originally to return my original Delorean to a concourse style Delorean. I've had various problems with my cooling system over the years. After replacing the otterstat, and having it work for a couple of years my cooling fans again began acting intermittant. I had already bled my system, and installed the Radiator bleeder kit (which doesn't bleed air trapped near the radiator by the way). My otterstat was failing. I replaced that otterstat with the Adjustable Fan Switch available through Delorean Parts Northwest and it was amazing. It allows me to dial the temperature in, and keeps the motor very cool. I've given up the concourse Delorean idea for the idea of better engineering. Maybe that's because I'm an engineer and can't resist moving these Deloreans into the future. I suppose my testimonial is that this thing is keeping my Delorean cool, kicking on as dialed in, and that's been my biggest intermittent problem since owning this Delorean.
