Solid advice! From someone who has chased electrical gremlins caused by this pump shorting out (due to water build up-----due to small clogged drain holes). You lose your dash lights, side running lights, and whatever else if on that circut. Once problem was realized soution was simple, however if you take the black windsheild washer pump assembly cover off it is not fun re-alining the holes to start the screws. Takes a hand the size of a muchkin to reach and start the top two screws. At the time, mine was a daily driver and just had road gunk build up and clogged the drain holes.
