Last year I rebuilt my A/C Mode Switch to try and correct the problem of very little air coming out of the dash vents, and hissing from the A/C Mode Switch vent position. I reinstalled the switch with (unlike the way I found it) all the vacuum hoses connected and to the correct positions. What I ended up with was absolutely no air coming out of the dash vents with the fan on high speed, and now constant hissing from both the vent and heater/floor positions. I even disconnected the vent door linkage to keep the door permanently open! But the only air I have coming out is from the floor vents. To keep from melting this summer, I am considering stuffing the floor vents with rags to try and direct at least some air to the dash vents!! Why would hooking up the hoses to the A/C Mode Switch cause constant hissing and no air from the dash vents?? Because of this, I am sure that all the actuators are not working. Would appreciate any advice! Thanks. Mike #5781 ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for earth-friendly autos?
