When I did mine I used a Dremmel too with a cut off blade and went very slowly. Also masked the area to protect the finish and provide a surface to draw a line for the opening. Yes it took some time but this method offered me the opportunity to get it just right. I also did not cut any wires but rewired the system including a new hot lead right to the battery with an in-line fuse. Could not be happier!!
