I'm going to cut...may God have mercy on my soul. I've pulled the old radio, I have a clear view into the dash.. my plan is to cut the old wiring harness from the Craig radio, and rewire the old harness to my new radio speaker/power wires. This way I can just plug it back into the existing radio connection. I'm leaving the dash in place within the car, but will buy a brand new metal blade for my jigsaw and lay down plenty of plastic to cover debris. I've heard that I should make the opening slightly less then the radio frame that holds the new radio, so that it will be tight. Any other advice before I start this delicate surgery? I'm not sure how the radio frame will have solid connection to the dash? Thank you everyone.
