All, This weekend I replaced my old fuel lines with Hervey's stainless ones. After a little trial and error, I was able to find and eliminate all the leaks around the distributor top. When I started it to check for any leaks, I kept hearing a popping sound coming out of the engine compartment that I hadn't heard before. After quite a bit of searching I finally found the sound. Apparantly, the middle spark plug boot on the left side was hopping up and down making a popping sound. The spark plugs were replaced about two weeks ago, but I am almost positive they were tightened down to specification. My question is first off, what would be causing this? and is it harmful to my engine if I don't get it remedied right away? Thanks in advance for any help.
