[DML] Automatic Transmission Shifter Indication Plate

Group,

I am having trouble removing the shift indication plate that shows
what gear you are in.  The plate is at the forward end of the center
console.  

According to the archives,  one should be able to just pull the thing
backwards to detach.  I've removed two screws securing the plate and
the AC facia before trying to pull it lose.  Maybe some of the
automatic Delorean owners who has removed center console can drop some
hints.
