Let's not forget the 5th gear retaining nut backing off. I know of 3 
cars in this country that've suffered this fate, my own included, and 
the gearbox specialist we use has seen many UN1's with the same issue. 
The Lotus guys know about it as do the Alpine guys. It's one of those 
"very rare, but it happens" problems!

All UN1/369 gearbox parts are still available from Renault.... at a price.
