 The window set up was designed
for strength. The large fixed glass helps to ad torsional strength to the very
large and heavy door. The motorized window was part of the luxury sports car
theme.

  I read in one of the books that JZ thought the car "needed"
electric windows, because sliding one's were just too down market,( dispite
the fact that they work fine) . Because of the shape of the door, a full
size one in glass just wouldn't work. Someone has done them full-size
using polycarbonate, which bends.

this special. I was disappointed with some parts, like the classic History
channel recycling of parts. I'm pretty I saw the specials that VW and
Edisel stuff came from. Just the fact that there was a lot of good footage
of D's and especially the prototype won me back. Anyone know what persuaded
JZD to go with the power toll booth windows as opposed to the sliding
window? The latter looks much more reliable. Well, mine are currently are
broke, so I might be biased :) > > Just intrested in everyone
