I read in one of the books that JZ thought the car "needed" electric windows, because sliding one's were just too down market,( dispite the fact that they work fine) . Because of the shape of the door, a full size one in glass just wouldn't work. Someone has done them full-size using polycarbonate, which bends. I was disappointed with some parts, like the classic History channel recycling of parts. I'm pretty I saw the specials that VW and Edisel stuff came from. Just the fact that there was a lot of good footage of D's and especially the prototype won me back. Anyone know what persuaded JZD to go with the power toll booth windows as opposed to the sliding window? The latter looks much more reliable. Well, mine are currently are broke, so I might be biased :) > > Just intrested in everyone else's opinions... > > -- Jonathan > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Before posting messages or replies, see the posting policy rules at: > www.dmcnews.com/Admin/rules.html > > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: > moderator@xxxx > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > -- 20 megs of disk space in your group's Document Vault > -- http://www.egroups.com/docvault/dmcnews/?m=1 > >
