There are three main sources for oil
leaks on the De Lorean engine. The oil light sender (most common), rear
crankshaft seal (most common in high mileage cars), and the cam shaft cover
seals.

Subject: [DML] another problem
This is kinda confusing.  I'm sure I have an oil
leak.  The oil pan is covered with oil (which I cleaned off during my
last oil change) and the filter has a few droplets hanging off of
it.  As I've heard most oil leaks are the senders, I checked them,
and they're covered with oil too.  But here's the weird part-my oil
level doesn't seem to be dropping.  Its right where it was when I
changed it.  Possibly, because the DMC holds so much oil, it's just
not as easy to recognize?  Anyway, would a leak on the senders cause
the oil to get on the pan too?  Or I am I also looking at a gasket
leak?
