David, Thank you again for your response. I'd like to avoid "adding" anything to the car - while a throttle retard might make the sound go away, that isn't fixing the core problem (whatever it is). I'd rather track down whatever is causing this and fix it right. How can I find out if the exhaust manifold is leaking? The car isn't particularly loud so if there is a leak, it's going to be minor - but could be enough to cause this glugging.
