Yes, they were all hand-assembled. Photos of the production facility 
bear this out.

      Your car is not a pre-production prototype car.  Its not even 
a pre- 
      production car.  There is nothing different about your car 
than mine, 
      except yours was "hand built"  but then again, weren't they 
all hand 
      built?  Just because a certain amount of cars were not 
destined to be 
      sold to the public does not classify them as a prototype. 
      The "citroen" car is a prototype....totally different from our 
cars. 
      Yours is a production car...no more testing or changes were 
done 
      after your car.  I'm sorry, but I think you are just 
      saying "prototype" to make your car worth more to someone who 
doesn't 
      know any better.
