RE: [DMCForum] Houston's new ignition set up

Interesting: they added the performance package after I introduced mine
performance Items.I just added the Mallory Ignition system which is now on
the site with the 8mm wires and HP coils. You can make up your own HP
package with the Items I list.
Take the Mallory Ign system at $109.95
HP coil Pertronix Coil at $29.95
Add the 8mm HP wires at $49.95
Package is ------------------------------
                                             $189.95

Then throw in the HP air filter $33.95
-----------------------------------------------------
                              Total is $223.80
Then take 5% off that and the total is
----------------------------------------$212.61

How can they compare to that.

I'd like to see the results on a dyno compared to an engine with a new
  stock setup.

I'm surprised they didn't make note that when you buy this kit it's a good
idea to get a new coil. I don't understand why there wasn't a high
performance coil included in the kit in the first place. But then again
I'm
mechanically inept... so what does my two cents matter? lol Anyone else
have
any thoughts? I'm really excited that Houston is continuing their
performance options, but this one just seems a little off base to me.
