My R30 has same. FYI: was colossal pain to attach hose after upper air assembly in place, and very difficult to maneuver hose over distributor if attached first. Now of course just holds a 3/4" vaccum cap. At least doesn't leak air like O ring. On Louie G's #10115 (God rest its stainless steel soul) we wrapped a little electrical tape around longer DMC tube to get vacuum tight seal where it meets O ring. Worked excellent for 12 hours.
