[DMCForum] A possible source of the melted #7 fuse?

When doing repairs on New Year's Day, I noticed that the fan fail mod had
issues as well. One of the jumpers had corroded and had separated from the
terminal, and the corresponding terminal had melted and fused that section
of the relay. Is it possible that the corroded wire could have created an
arc which damaged the relay holder and then overloaded the #7 fuse?
