The DMC rack is a "bitser". Burnham (who made the rack) was famous for this. The rack is part Capri, part Avenger, part custom. The Esprit rack is close but not long enough, it was also made by Burnham. So you have to use several donor racks PLUS your LH DMC rack. For instance the ram, the only hope you may have is finding a rack that has a longer ram and cutting it down, re threading the end etc but remember this part is hardend. Another option is Australia as there are a few companies that have converted a few DeLorean's. Unless someone wants to stump up and have them re made in the far east!
And if you do get the rack issue sorted you can look forward to the AC / heater system :) ...oh and did I mention the RH foot well is slightly smaller than the LH :)
So how many will be converted for Eurofest?...maybe we can a people's choice on Post RH conversions :)
