Ok, I understand this so far. But how about cars that are recent
imports (as is mine) but has been sold on by the person that
imported it (to me)?
Who will they chase for duty, the chap who no longer owns the car
but imported it or the present owner?
or will they only pick on people who still own the cars they
imported?
Just my thoughts
