Martin / Mike / List, I "inadvertently" switched myself off from the DML a few weeks ago ( I was vainly trying to search some back record) and I must admit, after the first few days, I've not missed it too much! My blood pressure has certainly remained a pound or two lower. The car and its owners ( on occasion) can definitely view things slightly different from opposite sided of the Atlantic. As Martin says, the central purchasing office for the factory was in Coventry, about 30 miles from my house and I never fail to be surprised at what was sourced and made locally. Only last week at the NEC car show a man came up to me who supplied the original steering wheels, they were not a new design, but some sourced from a Taxi! He did say that they charged DeLorean loads more for them than they were previously selling them for! It sort of like the UK verses the USA now, folk charge as much as they can get away with. .....But then again if you consider the enormous cost of carrying slow moving stock for years, you need to make a bit here and there!
