Dan, If the pedal doesn't seem to be doing anything, then you clearly have some sort of problem, The simplest, cheapest thing to do is to re-bleed the system ( I understand that the nipple in the slave cylinder is difficult to get at!) Top up with fluid, bleed, keep locking up the nipple and see if you can get "a pedal" as we old mechanics used to say. You may find that you can get one, then the fluid may leak some where and the "pedal" fails. Or you may find that you cant pump up any fluid in the first place, in which case your master cylinder is NBG. OR the pedal may fail after a day or after initial success, again that would be the master cylinder. You will simply have to try a few options. I'm going to take my clutch problem. On investigation I can get the car to shift gears without the engine running. When she is running... not a chance. It's been getting progressively worse over the weeks to a point now where the engine MUST not be running to get her out of reverse and in to first. I think that there is no pressure in the clutch system - therefore a faulty master cylinder? I've not had the time to check and with the weather like it is here (lashing with rain) I may not get to check over the weekend either... Any pointers of tests I can run? Price of a master cylinder off hand? (if it's that?) Of course, the fluid bottle may have split and dumped it's contents.... but again, I can't check yet! Still.. got till July 14th to fix it :o( Dan Vin#5284 - Hana DOC UK Website: www.delorean.co.uk Unsubscribe: doc-uk-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxx ** Unless otherwise stated, all messages posted to the group are assumed public and may be printed in the club magazine ** Your use of Yahoo!
