A few genaral rules when recieving ANY emails:
1. Any well established organisation will NEVER ask for
personal details through email, and if they do, visit their site and contact them over the phone to confirm this.
2. If you get a "Click Here" link in your email, you can check weather it is legit or not by hovering your mouse pointer
over the link and looking at your "Status Bar" which will show you the URL of the link you are about to click. If in doubt, dont click.
3. Report possible fraudulent e-mails to the respective company. eg. Ebay or Paypal spoof@xxxxxxxx .
4. It doesnt matter who they are, NEVER send credit card, bank details or other delicate information through email. This is
very unsecure. Unless you know what you are doing.

All,
Just a quick note to all of you who have PayPal accounts
I had an email yesterday purporting to be from them telling me how they
feared my account had been misused and to follow the link to deal with
the 'security' issue. Needless to say the email is a scam. The link
takes you to a web page which looks **exactly** like the PayPal login
screen even down to the 'www.paypal.com' url but is a fake designed to
steal your password.
