RE: [doc] DVLA Inspection/ number plates

To register your car you'll need:

1. Current MOT Certificate

2. Current Insurance Certificate/Cover Note
(Insurance can be done on VIN No. For AON this is for 15 DAYS ONLY)

3. Customs & Excise C&E386 form (they issue it when your vehicle
arrives)

4. A completed V55/5 which needs all the details (engine/chassis number,
colour etc) filled in - ask for an import pack from the DVLA now.

5. Lots of money for Tax + GBP38 for first registration.

6. You may need your drivers licence & some other form of ID eg. Gas
bill

7. Patience. Count yourself lucky if your in there less than an hour.

Don't expect a reg. no. on the spot - the process now takes 5 days.

You'll only get inspected if you're unlucky like James was.
