Dear all, Especially Robert Lamrock,

 We have "been down this road before", several times, the last time, 18
months ago.

Robert has made many enquires, on behalf of all DeLorean enthusiasts, but
nothing has come of it yet.

Personally, I'm very worried that one day, it won't be a rumour, it WILL be
for real. That would be a black day for all of us, especially the recent
new owners or, current non-owners, who are desperately trying to raise
funds, to buy their first car and may never get an opportunity to drive "
their car around THE test track".

It would also "water down" the impact off, and reasons for attending
"Eurofest 2006".

Come on Robert, you have the ear of the current owners, you are "our man in
Belfast". Can something be done to protect the existence of the track for
future generations?

I think that the only way to make its future certain would be if Montupet
would begin making some money from it. That would mean that it would have to
be used on a regular basis, but then it may degrade quicker.

Would everybody chip in to buy it if it was up for sale? The owner would
just be the DOC-UK. Supposedly, the land around the site has been sold so I
dont see why the track cannot be.
