I _think_ it's only on newer cars. Eg post 2000, but I could be wrong. 
The same  cars that get different tax rates according to emissions 
bracket (something I'm annoyed abot - my Xantia's group A and yet I get 
taxed at the full amount because my car's too old (99) )
