Hi Chris, just for your info, I've recently with my brother-in law created a web site for a local restaurant in my area, with no real experience and alot of man hours, we created(90% so far) using Microsoft FrontPage and dream weaver mx, the latter is more for advanced users but to be honest Microsoft FrontPage was excellent, if you need any help whilst working on the website contact me at Ptheski @blueyonder.co.uk.

Slightly off topic, but hope you dont mind me asking. Especially due
to the wealth of knowledge in the contributors to this site. :-)
Does any body know of a good programme (software) that is particully
suited to a home pc user, (my better half)!! for creating a website?
And how does it work? do you have to pay some one to host it or are
  there free places?
Or if someone fancy's the challenge of creating a website for us in
return for a favour or small cash sum?.
If you prefer, feel free to mail me of site.
  Thanks
  Chris
