RE: [doc] Delorean Proto 1

That's good news colm, glad there are some wheels in motion as it were, although I am still quite skeptical about the sale as there are no new photos to speak of at this point. I hope this does turn out ot be the real deal and not some arse in america trying to pull a fast one.

This morning I spoke to the head of the Road Transport Division of
the Ulster Transport Museum (Michael) and alerted him to the sale.
I gave him the Ebay details.  He is going to contact the seller via
e-mail and see if he would withdraw the car from sale pending an
offer from the museum.

He intends to speak with the NI Lottery Fund who can authorise
purchases up to £1m.  Given the seller's ostensible conditions, I
suppose he might consider the proposal.  Mind you, I suppose the
prospect of recovering $100,000+ appeals as well.  I have to say
that the chap at the UTM did not sound hopeful he could get the
funding.    Anyone fancy forming a consortium?

Regards

Colm
