Yeah the plate surround looks pretty cool and is a great idea because it would help those Delorean owners who can't get there hands on the american sized plates. It would look really good too once you make them, I would deffinately get one.

  At EuroFest I noticed loads of people who had driven across from 
  Europe and their cars all seemed to lack the rear number plate 
  surround.

  I understand that in many countries you can't alter the size of the 
  plate.

  I am looking at having another pattern made with 3 raised pads 
  either side of the plate aperture (OEM has 6) and the aperture 
  narrowed from top to bottom so that it will look 'right' but fit a 
  standard German/French plate.

  I have some mock up photos of what it would look like and will post 
  them later today on my website newoldbits.co.uk
