Hi Rich

You are correct about the high beams being perfectly usable. The reason 
I tracked down the Hella units was because the Valeo units that I (and 
several others) have on my car, sourced from Dave Howarth, are getting 
tricky to find. Price-wise,t here isn't much in it.

You can try and find a yank-tank or an early Audi coupe in a scrapyard - 
but good luck. Isuzu trucks also use the same size but don't have 
sidelights as part of the main assemby. No idea how much they are - they 
may be cheaper or more expensive.
