When you do this it is also worthwhile to replace the bell crank pivot bolt with a hardened one that SpecialT Auto sells. Others may sell an improved bolt too. This bolt can shear leaving you stuck in a gear or in neutral. I saw this happen on a fun run. We ended up jacking up the car and putting it in gear at the tranny to get it home.
