I sent a response to this, but it never made it though. I had a link in it, so I bet it got dumped in the spam bucket..
Either way, I think Bill explained what I was talking about.. There are 2 screws that hold a bracket between the mixture unit and intake. Remove those 2, and you get enough movement to get the distributor cap out.
