Group, Shannon's question was about the alternators for the DeLorean.
Here is the answer to his question.
What is your vin number or if you have or had or have a Motorola you had a
brown yellow wire. The brown/yellow operated the dash light and excites the
regulator. Sometimes you have to cut some of the tape up further in the loom
to see the color. The small solid brown was used on the ducy and most of the
time the factories just kept it in the loom. The large 10ga brown go to the
B+ terminal on the back of the alt and the to the large flag terminal below
all the multi colored ones back in the corner where the ignition coil is. It
also needs to be crimped and resoldered because it will leave you stranded.
Don't use the small solid brown out of the loom with the brown/yellow.
