I was looking at making a custom billet crank pulley with a 36-1 on it.
And when I say COP I don't nessarly mean the coil has to be on the plug but
I am thinking an LS1 type setup where you have coils mounted on the valve
covers and short spark plug wires to the plugs.
If you look at the LT1 setups that are upgraded to get rid of the OptiJunk
by using the LS1 coils.

COP would be the next logical step for someone like me that likes to
tinker.... What would you suggest for a crank sensor? Getting rid of the
distributor would be very cool. I'm not as space constrained since I don't
have the stock manifold anymore. I don't think COP would work with the tight
spacing of fuel rails and the stock manifold.
