This concept is not new technology.  20 years ago I played an arcade
game that used the same optical illusion to produce a life like
hologram image.

I for one think its silly to want to reproduce JZD into a 3d image.
If you want to hear/see JZD then watch an actual video of him in an
interview.  There is no need for photograpic trickery.
