Agreed..!! It was good..the problem was that Lotus DID NOT relish another British sports car competing for it's dollars..they engineered it to make owners wish they never bought one. For instance they could have engineered it with five lug wheels,giving it a more Musculature stance heck they even originally engineered it without a spare...weak ball joints... weak trailing arm bolts/LCA..heck the Only things that were done right is what you could see or touch. Even the alternator was poorly engineered for the car..window motors..door lock system was poorly done etc. If not for the vendors and devoted DMC enthusiasts and their "upgraded parts" the car would have been doomed for total failure...
