I drove this car when I was in high school (1981):

It has been in service its entire life. It is still a daily driver (think I'll use it to run some errands as soon as I hit the "send" button).
Note also: it is *PRESERVED*, not restored. I've repainted it once (hint: if you still have a lead based paint job, don't sand it off -- just rough it up enough for the new paint to adhere), added some chrome pieces and a spoiler, and recovered the front seats (back seat is still original), but otherwise this is the way it looked when it left Kenosha 31 years ago. Even the *UNCRACKED* dash pad is original.
(Don't try this with your 2012 model anything).
