I don't think having a manual transmission would count as a "modification
to increase performance" unless the car was equipped with an automatic
transmission from the factory. To my knowledge, only a few owners have gone
from manual to automatic or vice versa.

If there's a drag strip at DCS Orlando, I look forward to seeing the
results.
