"People NEED to be told and made aware of the facts in the legal
responsibility of any mods. "
This is true of changes we make to our homes, cars, boats, trailers,
cabins, swingsets and just about anything we do, own or operate. Are
those LED's as bright as the originals? If not to what extent are you
partially responsible for XXXX? Did you fix your Ford F150 with a used
part? If an accident occurs, to what extent are you liable? When my
fuel pump failed at DMCH they claimed they had to fix it back to
original. Was that due topotential liability issues? Supposedly there
is a case where the husband shoveled the sidewalk, the wife subsequently
slipped on said sidewalk, she sued him and won (they were happily
married before, during & after). In this litigious world, you can held
responsible for your actions regardless of how farfetched it may seem.
So choose wisely, be careful, be responsible... but don't live in fear.
