An owner in the other forum questioned whether there indeed was a ground junction behind the central A/C duct. Here it is: http://xa.yimg.com/kq/groups/1154320/sn/441362077/name/GroundJunctionBehindACDuct2.jpg If you physically trace the wires out, the only things grounded to the radio bracket are a couple of capacitors and the radio itself. Despite long time DeLorean lore, the instrument cluster is *NOT* grounded via the radio bracket -- it is grounded via the junction behind the A/C duct.
