Just my two cents:
I had made up instructions for replacing the vinyl brake pedal bearing with a steel one on Dodge Vipers and was going to post them along with pictures on the Viper Club website. I mentioned it to a friend who is an attorney and he strongly discouraged me from posting them for liability reasons. You absolutely can be sued even if someone follows your directions incorrectly. They could argue that the directions aren't clear, the impact of not following that particular step wasn't stressed enough, the picture was blurry, the wording was vague, etc etc. The point is, they could argue. The problem is, even if they lose, you're out thousands of dollars in attorney's fees, minimum.
The next time you have the opportunity to vote for a candidate who is for tort reform, vote for him/her.

My question was not meant to scare anyone into stopping being helpful, but rather a caution note about the subject
In this day and age, just about anyone can be sued for anything (sadly). I would assume nobody would sue an individual per say for faulty or improperly followed directions.. ..BUT...call yourself a club or an organization (which has insurance) and it becomes a whole different story. Any insured organization that promotes itself as the central point for Delorean knowledge could be acted against by an angry individual who feels they were mislead or wronged and is looking for financial compensation.
Likelihood of it occurring is minimal, but a valid "concern" I wanted Josh to discuss with the board and make sure they are covered for. (See..a NICE suggestion from me to the DOA!)
