Just to re-cap- My shocks are only 2 years old. They are Marty's but I don't know what "generation" of Marty shocks they are. They didn't leak then and they aren't leaking now (externally). They could be leaking internally, but I think it's more likely that they are just "soft" like a touring ride, instead of a sportscar ride. The car only bottoms out if I drive um...."assertively" might be the term, and I cross a wide speed hump or hit a large dip in the road. I know a lot of you are saying "duh" right now but my -opinion- is that the front end is still too soft. Based on reading what's here, my option is simply to replace everything. Again. (at least I now have the tools and don't have to screw around with control arm bushings this time) Call me a blasphemer, but I'm simply not interested in changing the ride height with aftermarket suspension equipment. I will either take a $150 chance and replace my springs with NOS springs or talk to Marty or one of the other vendors and replace the shocks with something adjustable that is compatible with the stock springs. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
