I'm not sure why one would want to use another pump if you're running an OEM fuel system. The OEM Bosch part (the one calling for a banjo fitting) has worked well in my car for over 20 years and 70,000 miles. I've had two other DeLoreans - one I put 90,000 miles on it and another with 30,000 - all OEM pumps. The boots and covers I replaced about every 5 years because the covers shrank. I have replaced fuel lines, accumulators, RPM relays and filters. But, the fuel pumps have performed great.
