Last month I pulled my car out of the garage and washed it. I am
always very careful not to get water over the louvers and hand wipe
that area. I then dried the car and took it for a ride.
It started fine and drove fine for about 15 minutes then died. It
would turn over, but no hint of a spark. I waited 15 minutes, then
tried and again and it restarted only to die again within a few
minutes. I let it sit for another 30 minutes, restarted, and it has
been running fine since.
No sure how, or where the water seeped into, but it was a negligible
amount that caused all my grief. I was luckily on a country road and
able to pull off without any issues.
