Very cool, Thanks for sharing the story.
Incidentally, the Dealer that sold my car in Atlanta had 50 cars
go through them. I was very surprised the number was that high.

confirmed what I had already known....I have the original window sticker with dates and
prices all filled out. I made copies and laminated the original to display now and then. It
was interesting to know how many they sold though. That is quite a few for a small town.
I have been there several times. It is kind of a suburb of Seattle. I purchased my car from
the original owner.....actually it was registered in his wifes name. The day JZD was
arrested and put in cuffs, this owner heard it on the radio (he told me) and did a UBAll and
went right back to Bothell and purchased the car. He said they had five in stock and were
tickled to sell one right away.....but later in the day, they called him and said IF his check
bounced they wanted the car back as sold out immediately and for a lot more than list
price. But his check did not bounce! Ho Ho. Then the Seattle Times newspaper wanted a
story of an owner to go with the pix of JZD in cuffs and the new owners wife was a pretty
blonde.....she drove the car back to the Dealership and they took pix of her with her nice
legs sticking out of the car with the door up. It hit Associated Press and went all over
wthe world.....they showed me newspapers from as far away as London and also Florida
and New York etc with the pix. I have most of them or copies... The new owner was a
wealthy man and had many cars in quonset huts and big buildings.....all carpeted and air
conditioned. Long story I wont go into, but he decided to sell it if he could find someone
who wold appreciate it and not be buying it for resale......a friend of his knew me and
convinced him I was the right person....I purchased it 13 years ago with 3k Miles and now
it has 8k.
